Data protection, data security and the responsible handling of personal data are important concerns for Seniors Group GmbH (“SENIORS GROUP”; “we”, “us”).

In this privacy policy we describe how we collect and process personal data from you when you use our online offering and the associated websites, functions and content (hereinafter jointly referred to as the “online platform”) or use our products or services.

 

Personal data that we collect and process to provide the online platform

You can visit the online platform and learn about our products and services without telling us who you are. However, as with any connection to a web server, our web hosting provider's server automatically logs and temporarily stores certain technical data.

This data includes meta/communication data (namely the IP address and operating system of your device and the type of browser you use to access the online platform) and usage data (namely access times). To the extent that we process personal data, we do so based on our interest in making the online platform available to you, offering you the best possible user experience and ensuring the security and stability of the online platform.

 

Personal data that we collect and process to answer your inquiries

If you contact us via the contact form, via social networks, by email or by telephone, or if you subscribe to our newsletter, we will collect the information you send to us.

This data includes inventory data (name and address), contact data (e-mail addresses and telephone numbers), content data (text entries, photographs, videos), and, if applicable, contract data (services used, contract contents, contractual communication between the CUSTOMER and CLIENT, names of contact persons).

We process this personal data based on our interest in answering your inquiry (including providing ordered services) and in contacting you with follow-up questions and inquiries. Based on our interest in informing you about new developments at SENIORS GROUP and about our products and services, we will send you our newsletter if you are interested. You have the option of not receiving the newsletter at any time.

 

Personal data that we collect and process to provide our contractual services

We collect and process personal data of our contractual partners and interested parties, their customers and employees in order to provide them with our contractual or pre-contractual services. The data processed in this process, the type, scope and purpose and the necessity of their processing are determined by the underlying contractual relationship.

This data includes inventory data (namely names and addresses), contact data (namely e-mail addresses and telephone numbers), content data (namely text entries, photographs, videos), and contract data (namely services used, contract contents, contractual communication, names of contact persons).

We only process particularly sensitive personal data if this is part of a commissioned or contractual processing.

How and for what we use cookies

We use cookies on the online platform to offer you the best possible user experience and to obtain information on how to improve our products and services. Cookies are text files that are downloaded to your device when you visit a website.

We have a legitimate interest in doing this. Google and Hotjar only store the information collected via cookies in an anonymized form and process it in an aggregated form.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

How we use social media

We offer sharing links on the online platform for sharing content on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Xing, Facebook, Twitter and other providers. We have a legitimate interest in this.

Such links are recognizable on the online platform by the logo of the respective social network. All sharing links used are set up without scripts. To do this, we set a "coded" link to the respective social network, which specifies the page to be shared via parameters. In addition, no user data is passed on to the respective social network. The respective providers are responsible for the data protection-compliant operation of the social networks and their respective data protection declarations apply. Other third-party services we use on the online platform

Based on our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of the online platform), we use content or service offerings from third parties within the online platform in order to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter jointly referred to as “content”).

This always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the users, since without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to their browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content.

 

Google Maps

Based on our interest in providing you with information about our locations, we use the Google Maps map service on the online platform.

Using the functions of Google Maps requires the storage of your IP address. This is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have no influence on this data transfer.

Google Maps is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of the online platform and to make the locations we specify on the online platform easy to find..

Google reCAPTCHA

To detect so-called bots when entering data in online forms, we use the “reCAPTCHA” function from Google on the online platform. This function is used to distinguish whether the input was made by a human or abusively by automated, machine scripts. We have a legitimate interest in this. When this query is made, the IP address and other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service (e.g. page visited, user behavior, browser data) are transmitted to Google. However, your IP address is shortened by Google beforehand. Only in In exceptional cases, the full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Sendinblue

We use Sendinblue (“Sendinblue“), a service of Sendinblue GmbHWe have a legitimate interest in this.

Based on our interest in being able to send you the newsletter, we collect your email address. When you register for the newsletter, we also save the date of your subscription and any unsubscription. The data saved during registration is transmitted to Sendinblue in encrypted form and saved by Sendinblue. Sendinblue also offers various analysis options regarding the use and opening of the newsletters sent (e.g. number of subscribers to whom the newsletter was sent; number of unsubscriptions from the newsletter). However, these analyses are only group-related and are not used by us for individual evaluation.

We would like to point out that Sendinblue may use Google Analytics and refer to the information provided on Google Analytics.

 

Gleap

The online offer offers the possibility of using Gleap.io. This is a live chat software. The chat is integrated as a plugin. By using the chat you automatically use the services of Gleap.io. The data collected includes: chat history, IP address at the time of the chat and country of origin. This data is not passed on to third parties and is used exclusively for protection and internal statistics. The data is not used to identify you personally. It is not stored. It is deleted after the chat. Personal data that we collect and process as part of our online presence in social networks

We maintain online presences within social networks in order to communicate with customers, interested parties and users active there and to inform them about our products and services. We have a legitimate interest in doing so.

Unless otherwise stated in our privacy policy, we process the personal data disclosed to us by customers, interested parties and users active in social networks for the purpose of communicating with them.
