As an adult education center, we are committed to lifelong learning and low-threshold educational opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds. With around 30 events a year, a salaried staff member and a motivated board of directors, we make an important contribution to educational and cultural life in our region.
The purpose of the Volkshochschule Schwyz is to promote adult education in the Canton of Schwyz. To this end, it organizes lectures, excursions, panel discussions, courses and other public events. It seeks cooperation with other adult education organizations in the region. In its activities, it maintains independence from political, denominational and economic organizations. It does not work for profit.
