Über das Unternehmen
An international Swiss company
Founded in 1939, the Swiss company Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG develops and builds unique aircraft worldwide: from the legendary PC-12, the best-selling single-engine turboprop aircraft in its class, to the PC-7 MKX and PC-21 and the associated simulators, the market-leading training systems for pilot training. The brand-new PC-24 is the world's first business jet capable of operating on short natural runways. The Pilatus team consists of over 3,000 dedicated employees, making the company headquartered in Stans one of the largest and most innovative employers in Central Switzerland. Independent subsidiaries in the USA and Australia are also part of the Pilatus Group. The company trains over 140 apprentices in various professions - the promotion of young professionals is a high priority. Pilatus is consistently committed to Switzerland as a place to think and work, and acts sustainably and environmentally consciously in all its activities.
Pilatus also holds a 50 percent stake in Airport Buochs AG, the home base of Pilatus. The Skytech Authorized Sales and Service Center is also part of the Pilatus Group.
